Afternoon tea in London probably rates quite high on the to-do list of anyone visiting England’s capital.

There’s just nothing like the traditional British afternoon tea. . So when I was going to an afternoon tea at Bermondsey Square hotel with my friend, obviously I was over the moon! And I think this has to be some of the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had as we were treated like absolute royalty by the Hotel staff and the tea and cakes really just spoke for themselves…oh and the clotted cream and scones. Yum!

We were given a selection of traditional British finger sandwiches, warm plain and fruit scones served with delicious Cornish clotted cream and a selection of rich fruity jams. Completing the afternoon indulgence, the Afternoon Tea was served with a selection of the Chef’s daily home-made cakes. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. We were licking our fingers at the end, wishing for more!
