Hotel Rangá: Luxurious South Iceland

We were lucky enough to stay in this heaven on earth on our visit to Iceland. Hotel Ranga is the only 4 star resort in South Iceland and you can definitely feel the luxury in this log-cabin style hotel. Located between the towns of Hella and Hvolsvöllur, Hotel Ranga is situated next to a stunning river and you can have this view from your hotel room!  The long wood panelled corridors make you feel cosy. There’s nothing around Hotel Ranga, however the thing is, you don’t need anything else. Because the owner Fridrik, has provided everything for his guests. I actually got to meet him during my stay there, and saw him talking to almost all of his guests and helping them with their queries. Us too were a bit lost about our golden tour the following day. Having heard our confusion, Fridrik brought a big map, offered us some fantastic white Italian…

Rooftop Bars in Manhattan

Having always heard about the rooftop bars in New York, I decided to give them a try. And understand why it is so much better than the ones we have in London.. As I was doing my masters, I was going to have plenty of time to do some explorations 🙂 I made myself a list, arranged my friends, and I was ready to go. And to be honest I fell in love with few, that it was almost felt like I was cheating on them. So this post is about the ones I fell in love with and spent my most time at. 1- Mr Purple Rooftop Bar, Manhattan 2- Bar Hugo, Manhattan 3- Rooftop at Gansevoort Hotel Park Ave 4- Le Bain 5- Met…

Museum of Ice Cream – New York

Probably one of the coolest museums I’ve been. So much ice cream, so much experience and the best bit: a pool full of sprinkles (apparently costed them a whopping $11,000)! However, to get a ticket was almost impossible. I was lucky enough to be offered to come in as an influencer however for my friend we had some difficulties. While waiting in the queue I actually realised, how many people are waiting to squeeze in, or even begging the poor door lady. I guess my friend was lucky enough to found a ticket! Because she has literally emailed people on social media channels asking for a ticket, offering them to pay almost 5x more, and hoping to get a ticket. Till we walked in the door, we were quite tense! But guess what she got in 🙂 It is a pop up museum so unfortunately, it is now over. However,…
