I always had problems with my teeth, especially as a little kid. Through all of middle school I used braces. I remember how much I hate wearing them, but I had no choice. Couple of years later, probably during high school I actually had my teeth aligned. However, little did I know that our teeth are constantly changing and moving. When I thought I was completely over and done with teeth aligning and that I will have perfectly aligned teeth for the rest of my life, I couldn’t be further from the truth. I think I was around 22 when realised how misaligned my bottom teeth were, I was in utter shock. So for years and years, from that moment onwards, I struggled with how misaligned they were. And they did get worse through time because of my wisdom teeth. As they pushed them more and more they became more…

I am not going to lie, getting closer to 30 is scaring me. After 25, I’ve definitely started to see the changes on my skin. I ask myself the paradoxical question though, do I see the change more because I am paying more attention to it, or I am paying more attention to it, as my skin is bothering me more? Normal healthy skin has a nice epidermis with a smooth cornified, or outer, layer that acts as a good barrier to water and environmental injury. Skin color and tone is even and unblemished. Components such as collagen (which provides skin firmness), elastin (which supplies skin elasticity and rebound) and glycosaminoglycans or GAGs (which keep the skin hydrated) are all abundant. However, science tells us, after the tender age of 20 our skin starts producing 1% less collagen each year. Let alone all the pollution out there, and good luck…

I’ve suffered from PMS since I can remember, seriously the most horrible time of the month for women, I naively thought. I could also see the similar symptoms among my friends, which made it normal to suffer? Throughout the years I used various apps to track my periods but little did I know that PMS is all related to our hormones and that if we could understand it better, we can tackle it better too! Then I found AVA bracelet and it transformed my life. So, what makes the Ava Bracelet different than others? You can use Ava bracelet for 3 different reasons (which I will mention below), however, mine was to understand my body better by tracking my cycles. Unlike the apps we tend to use, Ava bracelet checks the important parameters during night (skin temperature, resting pulse rate, breathing rate, HRV ratio, and the amount of sleep you…

Let’s first understand the basics We all know that bacterias are good in the food by now right? I believe most of us know now that fermented products, yogurt with live bacterias and so on are good for our digestive systems, which helps with our overall health. Bu how about bacterias on our skin? Let’s first start with the simple facts. Bacterias are one thing but what are probiotics or prebiotics. Gallinee’s site explains probiotics as, these are live micro-organisms that keep your body healthy. You can also call them “good bacteria”. The ones we use in our products are from the Lactobacillus family, and have been gently deactivated by heat. Usually seen in yoghurt and fermented food, lactobacillus is the most common probiotic. It is also one of the healthiest. It strengthens the skin microbiome and provides relief for various sensitive skin conditions. Whereas prebiotics are any kinds of…

Of course there are many organic and “non-organic” ways of achieving a glowing skin. The below article is just couple of easy ways that I know and do to achieve a younger looking, glowing skin. Healthy Eating – Eat your greens, kids! Because you become what you eat, and if you want to glow from within this has to be through the food you eat. Here in the UK, people mostly just pay attention to what it says on the food label and could easily eat a microwaveable soup if it is 2 of your five a day. What they don’t realise is while they are heating that soup in that plastic, they are consuming all the chemicals as well, also I don’t even want to talk about the sugar and sodium inside those already made food options. Hence, don’t just check the label. Cook it at home, and buy…

How do I keep a balanced and healthy lifestyle? Being a blogger and almost every month travelling to another country, flying 10-12 hours a month, may look good on insta, but is horrible for the health & skin. While doing my job, the most frequently asked question I get is. How do I keep my glow and still look youthful. The answer is below: Healthy eating Luckily we millennials are very lucky. We have access to healthy food wherever/ (almost) which ever country we go. The thing is: it’s not the abundance of it, the habitual factors are what stop us. That’s why from a very early age, I unplugged the “oh I’m so sad” and “food can make me feel happier”relevancy in my brain. Yes of course I eat bad stuff, we all do. But it’s always controlled. I love my body and want to keep it healthy. Being healthy…

Iceland has always been on top places to visit for me. But never really had the time and plan to realise it. It is one of the pretties countries in the world (the prettiest in my opinion :)), and I am sure you have seen so many stunning views of it. Almost like watching Geographic Channel.. I finally made up my mind, found a travel buddy and realised my most epic road trip into the country of Elf lovers. I am writing this article to help whoever is thinking of going to Iceland with limited amount of time. I wish I had a post that I could read and that would help me with my planning process. I had to research every single detail and took a lot of time. But hope this article will be useful for whoever is tired of planning a trip to Iceland! In this post I will talk about everything from…

I have always been interested in styling hair and hair products. Because unfortunately I was not born lucky with my frizzy messy untamed hair. Due to this, since I am 10 I was in search of a product that would tame my hair, and reduce the time I spent after each shower (as it used to take up to 2 hours just to straighten my hair). I have lots and lots of hair, and imagine having each hair frizzy and curly and tangled. It was nightmare! 10 years ago thanks to my best friend I have been introduced to the wonders of ghd stylers. Having usually spending up to 2 hours to straighten my hair, I was shocked to see with ghd, it was only a matter of 15-20 minutes. As you can imagine I got hooked 🙂 Since then I never spend a week apart from my ghd products. 10 years and my ghd styler…

This is me completely bared face.  I do not have some crazy procedure, but I do look after my skin well.  I am completely obsessed with Grounded coffee peeling, and I use it once or twice a week. It makes my skin incredibly soft as well as moisturising it.   Then I use Lancome’s Hydra Zen, for better hydration. It is not oily at all and perfect for karma skin types like me.    It is very moisturising and I just love how my skin feels afterwards.  3 or 4 times a week just before bed, I use Lancome’s another miracle cream Energie de vie le nuit. This cream works more like a mask, and needs to stay on your face through the night for a full recovery.   Lastly, but not least, my biggest favourite, Estee Lauder’s advanced night repair cream. This cream is especially useful for people with under eye…
