Tea Time at InterContinental Park Lane

The five-star InterContinental London Park Lane is situated between Mayfair and Knightsbridge overlooking the Royal Parks and iconic London landmarks. Set on the ground floor is the visually stunning Wellington Lounge, with a view of London’s Wellington Arch promised from every seat. As soon as you enter the hotel, you are welcomed with fresh flowers. Wellington Lounge is also the place to indulge in a new Afternoon Tea menu that cleverly evolves with the seasons and always brings to Park Lane the best products within the British Isles. Having heard their famous afternoon tea, I decided to give it a go <3. Below is the menu I tried and loved. Even though it was difficult to choose my favourite ones were “The Queen’s Hat” and “Hen egg and cress, carrot bread”. Can’t wait to go back! ROYAL TEA Pretty English Classics Speyside smoked salmon, cream cheese Scottish lobster and shrimp, Marie Rose…

Next Stop: The Marylebone Hotel

The magnificent Marylebone Hotel London is perfectly situated in the very heart of London, which is one of my favourite cities and second home. This splendid hotel is just a moment’s walk from the buzzing Oxford Street and the trendy districts of Bond Street, Hyde Park and Soho. Its location in Marylebone village makes it a perfect base for those who want to explore central London, shop or sight-see at their ease, whilst staying in one of the most cosmopolitan and stylish areas of the city. There’s plenty of Michelin starred restaurants around, however you will not even want to leave the beautiful hotel because this stunning place has a restaurant, where you can have delicious locally sourced meals, a top-quality bar and a lovely Parisian cafè. The ambience of luxury and decadence is reflected in the stylish Parisian furnishings and fine Italian ceramics throughout the hotel. In the splendid ensuite…

#Brunching at Sanderson

Brunch is my favourite meal of the day, and no breakfast, lunch or dinner can dare to replace that. Give me some eggs, avocado, soya latte and an enjoyable company I am good for the next couple of hours. There’s plenty of places in london when it comes to avocado and eggs, however it is almost impossible to find a place with a nice relaxing interior and good quality service. Located in the heart of London’s West End, Sanderson, is a gem in London. The stunning hotel offers a retreat from the bustle of the city into a world of fantasy and well-being. The landmarked 1950s building has been transformed by Philippe Starck into a surreal Cocteau-like dream world, epitomising a new luxury that is smart, pared-down and tempered with a healthy dose of wit and irony. In addition to that, they have the prettiest inside garden, where I was lucky…

Paris, The Renaissance

Located next to the famous Champs Elysees, Renaissance Paris Arc De Triomphe welcomes you. This stunning hotel is not only a place to rest and enjoy the spectacular view, but also a place to party the night away. As soon as you enter the hotel, you see the colourful bar, which tempts you to have a cocktail even before you check in. Once you enter the room, the beautiful, black modern decor takes your breath away, and you almost don’t want to leave. The luxurious, soft and silky linen sucks you in, and even working becomes fun. I was lucky enough to experience the view of Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, while trying their tasty breakfast. Even though walking around city of lights, doing some shopping seemed tempting, I actually ended up not leaving my room and this view. Eating pain au chocolat, how more French can I get?

Paris, As It Should Be

Having lived in Avenue Bosquet with my best friend we spent most of our time eating in the delicious restaurants of Rue Cler, 7eme arrondisement has a different meaning in my heart. Le Narcisse Blanc is located right here where all my memories are based which helped me connect with the hotel  deeper than I could of thought! However, the location of the hotel is not only special because of my memories, but its also in walking distance to Le Tour Eiffel or L’avenue which is great if you are into celeb spotting. Also while you are there, you must walk through Rue Cler, and see all of the gorgeous shops and the local markets. However, depending on how long you’re staying, you may not even have the chance to see all these places. This stunning hotel has plenty to offer with a Spa which features a pool, jacuzzi, a…

Le Lobby: A Gastronomic Journey

Located in the famous street Avenue Kleber, inside The Peninsula Hotel,  Le Lobby is the ultimate fine dining spot. Having heard some incredible reviews about this place, I went there to try their famous menu “Menu Du Marché”. The lobby looks like it’s jumped straight form the “Belle Epoque” era. Menu du Marché, literally meaning “Menu of the market” which offers an exciting array of fresh and local cuisine created by Head Chef Laurent Poitevin and his team using only the best ingredients. With salmon and hake being a personal favourite on mine I just had to try Le Lobby’s take on these two classics. Take at the photos below: Salmon with yogurt and chives, accompanied champagne, Bollinger Rosé Baked Hake, with beef ravioli base, accompanied white wine, Sancerre, Florés, Vincent Pinard Creme Brulé, accompanied desert wine, Ruster Auslese, 2009 Along with the soothing notes of this jazz trio, which was another reason why I…

Hotel Rangá: Luxurious South Iceland

We were lucky enough to stay in this heaven on earth on our visit to Iceland. Hotel Ranga is the only 4 star resort in South Iceland and you can definitely feel the luxury in this log-cabin style hotel. Located between the towns of Hella and Hvolsvöllur, Hotel Ranga is situated next to a stunning river and you can have this view from your hotel room!  The long wood panelled corridors make you feel cosy. There’s nothing around Hotel Ranga, however the thing is, you don’t need anything else. Because the owner Fridrik, has provided everything for his guests. I actually got to meet him during my stay there, and saw him talking to almost all of his guests and helping them with their queries. Us too were a bit lost about our golden tour the following day. Having heard our confusion, Fridrik brought a big map, offered us some fantastic white Italian…

Exploring Iceland: Road Tripping

Iceland has always been on top places to visit for me. But never really had the time and plan to realise it. It is one of the pretties countries in the world (the prettiest in my opinion :)), and I am sure you have seen so many stunning views of it. Almost like watching Geographic Channel.. I finally made up my mind, found a travel buddy and realised my most epic road trip into the country of Elf lovers. I am writing this article to help whoever is thinking of going to Iceland with limited amount of time. I wish I had a post that I could read and that would help me with my planning process. I had to research every single detail and took a lot of time. But hope this article will be useful for whoever is tired of planning a trip to Iceland! In this post I will talk about everything from…
