Having never been to Palma de Mallorca before, I was pretty excited to be going to the south of Spain with my girls for 6 whole days. I am huge fan of the Spanish lifestyle, its weather, food and friendly locals are my kind of getaway and Palma did not let me down, so I wanted to share my experience and some top tips. Mallorca is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. It’s known for beach resorts, sheltered coves, limestone mountains and Roman and Moorish remains. Capital Palma has nightlife, the Moorish Almudaina royal palace and 13th-century Santa María Cathedral. It’s a beautiful island, and has a really laid back vibe. We spent half of our trip in the centre and the other half on an epic yacht! Apart from being so much fun, the yacht gave us a chance to see the island from another view, and…

I always had problems with my teeth, especially as a little kid. Through all of middle school I used braces. I remember how much I hate wearing them, but I had no choice. Couple of years later, probably during high school I actually had my teeth aligned. However, little did I know that our teeth are constantly changing and moving. When I thought I was completely over and done with teeth aligning and that I will have perfectly aligned teeth for the rest of my life, I couldn’t be further from the truth. I think I was around 22 when realised how misaligned my bottom teeth were, I was in utter shock. So for years and years, from that moment onwards, I struggled with how misaligned they were. And they did get worse through time because of my wisdom teeth. As they pushed them more and more they became more…

I absolutely love wearing skirts and dresses however, when temperature heats 10 degrees, wearing my beloved skirts used to become a problem. Influenced by Kate Middleton’s impact on the sheer tights, I started reading more and more about them. However, never really found anything that is both comfy, and warm and that actually looks nice. I probably tried 9-10 various brands to no avail. Then I came across Hedoine. They create fashion essentials for business women bored with conventional dress codes. Women that want to express their individuality, style and femininity through elegant clothing and accessories – starting with the biggest pain point: tights. Even reading these lines intrigued me! And once I got my hands on them I realised how beautiful they are even more. First of all they are incredibly comfortable! By that I mean, they really feel like a second skin. You don’t have to pull it up…

Recently I have started seeing the name “Sqixi” more and more and decided to do a little bit of research. Sqixi has been built to enable influencers to create more engaging content, build bugger audience and importantly share in all revenue generated by their followings on Sqixi. All you need to do is to announce this on your platforms like Instagram and ask your followers to download Sqixi and follow you. It is very simple. So what is Sqixi, let me explain it a little bit further. Sqixi is like an online magazine, where all the platforms are connected. You see all the images in full size, with all the full details, lighting etc. So it is visually very very pleasing. Just like Instagram there is a culture of hashtags, and you can search with using words. You can post articles on it, and due to the nature of the…

I am not going to lie, getting closer to 30 is scaring me. After 25, I’ve definitely started to see the changes on my skin. I ask myself the paradoxical question though, do I see the change more because I am paying more attention to it, or I am paying more attention to it, as my skin is bothering me more? Normal healthy skin has a nice epidermis with a smooth cornified, or outer, layer that acts as a good barrier to water and environmental injury. Skin color and tone is even and unblemished. Components such as collagen (which provides skin firmness), elastin (which supplies skin elasticity and rebound) and glycosaminoglycans or GAGs (which keep the skin hydrated) are all abundant. However, science tells us, after the tender age of 20 our skin starts producing 1% less collagen each year. Let alone all the pollution out there, and good luck…

I’ve suffered from PMS since I can remember, seriously the most horrible time of the month for women, I naively thought. I could also see the similar symptoms among my friends, which made it normal to suffer? Throughout the years I used various apps to track my periods but little did I know that PMS is all related to our hormones and that if we could understand it better, we can tackle it better too! Then I found AVA bracelet and it transformed my life. So, what makes the Ava Bracelet different than others? You can use Ava bracelet for 3 different reasons (which I will mention below), however, mine was to understand my body better by tracking my cycles. Unlike the apps we tend to use, Ava bracelet checks the important parameters during night (skin temperature, resting pulse rate, breathing rate, HRV ratio, and the amount of sleep you…

Let’s first understand the basics We all know that bacterias are good in the food by now right? I believe most of us know now that fermented products, yogurt with live bacterias and so on are good for our digestive systems, which helps with our overall health. Bu how about bacterias on our skin? Let’s first start with the simple facts. Bacterias are one thing but what are probiotics or prebiotics. Gallinee’s site explains probiotics as, these are live micro-organisms that keep your body healthy. You can also call them “good bacteria”. The ones we use in our products are from the Lactobacillus family, and have been gently deactivated by heat. Usually seen in yoghurt and fermented food, lactobacillus is the most common probiotic. It is also one of the healthiest. It strengthens the skin microbiome and provides relief for various sensitive skin conditions. Whereas prebiotics are any kinds of…

London is incredibly pretty and sparkly this Christmas. So I wanted to make it even more special and memorable this year, and experience a fine dining during festive season. While I was checking restaurants at Bookatable, I have come across this amazing offer: free champagne! I was actually surprised to see how many restaurants there are with this offer and how easy Booktable made it for us to see the restaurants with this offer! You can have a look at the restaurants here. It probably took me couple of hours to to choose though, as there are just too many restaurants that I am looking forward to visit, but in the end having heard great reviews about this specific restaurant, we decided to go ahead with Ormer Restaurant. Shaun Rankin has opened the restaurant, who has received a Michelin star in 2005 for his first restaurant. He held this for…
